Three words could easily summarize The Hickory Valley Community Church: Contemporary, Compassionate, Christian!

The Hickory Valley Community Church is more than a ritualistic "once-a-week" experience. We are attempting to fulfill the model of true Christianity by ministering to the entire scope of the human experience...spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. We also believe that the church is here for the community; therefore, what we do outside our facilities is much more important than what we do inside them.

It is our desire to facilitate three environments to enable each individual to experience God in an ever-increasing manner. They are:

Foyer…Reach   It is our desire to help you purse intimacy with God, where ever you are in your spiritual experience. We provide this opportunity through a corporate worship service once a week.             Living Room…Connect   We believe that the Christian experience is enhanced through people, so we want to help you connect with others. This is done through friendship groups called "Connect Groups" that meet on a regular basis throughout the year.         Kitchen Table…Impact   Finally, we believe that the pursuit for significance is key to fulfillment in life. This is done by one act of kindness each week to influence others for eternity, either through our church family or in our community.

The Hickory Valley Community Church is a local congregation of the Churches of God of Prophecy.
